Terms of Service

Last updated 23 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and MyCommit for use of mycommit.app. Please read them. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must read and agree to them for you.

The short version. We rank college baseball programs against your information and help you write to coaches. We cannot get you recruited and we do not promise to. You send every email yourself. It is $19.99 a month after a 7-day trial, it renews automatically, and you can cancel any time from inside the app.

1. Who can use MyCommit

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf and must be the one who purchases a subscription. By subscribing you confirm that you are either 18 or older buying for yourself, or the athlete's parent or guardian. We keep a record of that confirmation.

You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what happens on your account.

2. What the service does

MyCommit scores college baseball programs against the information you give us and shows the reasoning behind each score. It helps identify the right coach at a program and drafts an introductory email using your own numbers. It produces a daily summary of what to do next, and it gives you a shareable page a coach can open.

3. What it does not do — please read this

4. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

This is an automatically renewing subscription. When your 7-day free trial ends, or when a paid period ends, we charge the card on file for another period at the same price, and we keep doing that until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, before the next charge, from Settings inside the app.

Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are not refundable. If something has gone wrong — a charge you did not expect, a cancellation that did not take, a trial that converted while you were not looking — email us. We would rather refund you than argue about it.

Some states give you extra rights over automatically renewing subscriptions, including how you may cancel and what notice you must receive. Those rights apply to you wherever you live in the United States, and nothing above reduces them.

5. Your content

What you put into MyCommit stays yours. You give us permission to store it, process it and display it in the ways this service works — including on the coach page at your share link, and by sending it to the AI provider named in our Privacy Policy so it can draft emails and answer questions.

You confirm that what you upload is yours to upload and is accurate. Do not put anything on your profile you would not want a college coach to read.

6. Your shared coach link

Your share link can be opened by anyone who has it, without logging in. That is what makes it useful. It also means that if you forward it widely, or someone else does, the page is visible to them. What appears on it is listed in the Privacy Policy. Email us if you want yours disabled.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use MyCommit to harass anyone, to send bulk or misleading messages to coaches, to impersonate another person, to scrape or resell our program data, or to break the service or work around its limits. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

8. Our content

The software, design, and compiled program database are ours. College and university names, and their colours, are used only to identify real programs — no school sponsors, endorses or is affiliated with MyCommit.

9. Ending the agreement

You can stop using MyCommit whenever you like and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, or if we stop offering the service — in which case we will give you reasonable notice and will not keep money for a period we do not deliver.

10. Disclaimers and liability

MyCommit is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its information is complete or accurate.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for anything significant we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use MyCommit after that means you accept the change.

12. Where you can use MyCommit, and whose law applies

MyCommit is available anywhere in the United States. Nothing in this section limits that.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Illinois. That is where MyCommit operates from; it is about which court hears a dispute, not about who may sign up.

If you live in another state, this clause does not take away the consumer-protection rights your own state gives you. Where your state’s law gives you a right that these terms do not, you keep it.
